Kuala Lumpur City Tour

‘Kuala Lumpur City' Tour (<10 hours)

Why choose a private sightseeing tour. Group tours can be a headache for independent travelers – meeting at a central location to start the tour, schedules that are rushed, guides that don’t cater to your interests, forced stops at gift shops, and so on.

What you get. Enjoy a relaxing day of sightseeing in a clean, new chauffeured car. Your driver will greet you at your hotel lobby, take you directly to each location and wait on standby as you enjoy each site at your leisurely pace. He will chauffeur you to each stop, introducing you to the culture and catering to all your questions, and wait for you in the car at each destination. When finished, your driver will take you back to your hotel.

Independence Square

Kuala Lumpur has retained its majestic charm with Merdeka Square and its colonial surroundings at its heart. The beautifully-tended, 200m-long field is the most famous stretch of green in KL – it was here that Malaysia proclaimed Merdeka (freedom or independence) on August 31st, 1957.

City Gallery Center

Gold Award Winning Centre Kuala Lumpur City Gallery, tells the story of Kuala Lumpur through miniatures. It is located right in Independence Square. The highlight here is the Spectacular City Model Show, the massive model which showcases the city’s past, present and future through a light and sound presentation.

National New Palace

Istana Negara is Malaysia’s National Palace. Built in 1928, it is located along Jalan Istana and the 13-acre castle used to be the official residence of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong (King) of Malaysia. In June 2011, it was replaced by a new, extravagant palace near Jalan Duta, Kuala Lumpur.

National Monument, High Court, Mahathir House

The National Monument is a sculpture that commemorates those who died in Malaysia's struggle for freedom, principally against the Japanese occupation during World War II and the Malayan Emergency, which lasted from 1948 until 1960. The Malaysian Houses of Parliament are situated near the monument.

Kuala Lumpur Twin Towers

The Petronas Twin Towers, twin skyscrapers are a landmark of Kuala Lumpur. The 88-floor towers remain the tallest twin towers in the world. The towers contain more than eight million square feet of shopping and entertainment facilities, underground parking for 4,500 cars, a petroleum museum, a symphony hall, a mosque, and a multimedia conference center.

Cameron Highlands

The highlands are named after William Cameron, a British expedition leader who discovered the location during an expedition in 1885. Because of the perfect climate in this area it was very suitable for cultivating tea, and the Cameron Highlands soon grew out to be the biggest tea region of Malaysia.

Tea Garden, Butterfly Garden, Bee House, Strawberry Farm

The massive tea plantation stretches as far as the eyes can see. Everywhere you see tea bushes, all beautifully green. If you take a tour there are a couple of points where you can enjoy the scenic views best. Besides the tea plantations, there are also the following attractions: Butterfly Garden, Bee House, Strawberry Farm.

Tanah Rata

Tanah Rata is a small town; it is actually not much more than a street with shops, guesthouses and restaurants on both sides. The town has a small medical clinic, a pharmacy, a supermarket, numerous travel offices, a postal office, a few banks (with ATMs), souvenir shops and also numerous restaurants.

Lata Iskandar, Robinson Fall

There are numerous hiking trails that start from Tanah Rata village. Lata Iskandar is a waterfall along the trunk road from Tapah to Cameron Highlands. Another beautiful waterfall is Robinson Waterfall. The jungle walk winds for about 10 minutes before the waterfall greets you - a magnificent cascade with a strong stench caused by farming activities upstream.

St. Paul’s Church

The St Paul's Church is the church ruins that sit on the top of the St Paul's Hill. The hill was originally named as Malacca Hill. It was then changed to Monti Ali Maria or Mary's Hill after the Portuguese took over the hill.  The  Church was originally a chapel and was known to the Portuguese in Malacca as the Chapel of Mother of God.

Santiago Gate

The Porta De Santiago (A Famosa) is one of the most popular sites that you can find when visiting Malacca. It is a major historical landmark and is probably the most photographed structure in Malacca. A Famosa is one of the oldest surviving European architectural remains in the whole of Asia.

Queen Victoria Fountain

Britain’s longest reigning monarch’s commemorative tribute is indeed a sight to behold; impressive, majestic, and historical. The Queen Victoria’s fountain is a throwback to the days of Empire but it has been very well preserved and provides a good photo opportunity.

Sea Mosque

The Melaka Straits Mosque is known as Malacca's floating mosque as it is built on stilts above the sea. It was officially opened by Malaysia's King on 24th November 2006. It is constructed with modern Islamic design and craftsmanship.

Duck Boat

The Duck boat tour is an exciting opportunity to explore the world heritage city, Malacca, on a duck-bus, an amphibious transport truck. The journey takes 45- 60 minutes.
